There it is.
If ever there were a quadtych to win an award for best storytelling portrait, it would be this one.
I’m in love with the entire composition.

Oh god I just did those stupid heart things :-/

How do you take the Best Photos Day in and Day Out!?
It’s not about the white background or the AMAZINGLY $$$ EXPENSIVE €€€ lighting.
Sure you could own the sharpest lens on the planet with a .95 of an aperture, but thats not what its about.
….It’s about the expressions that you can pull out of people.
Peter Hurley is one of the most pragmatic photographers out there.
His photos speak for themselves.
You don’t need to see this guys entire portfolio to know how good he is, just watch this video, then see.
Oh and Happy first post of the New year to me

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama wait in the Blue Room of the White House before greeting recipients of the 2010 National Medal of Arts and National Humanities Medal, March 2, 2011. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)
This is truly an AMAZING Photo!!…and I cannot emphasize how powerful it is, and yet it’s only one of a collection of astounding images on the White House Flickr Stream.
“Behind every great man, there’s a great woman”…as Michelle Obama proves, there’s no truer words, by dusting off her husbands suit and fixing him before greeting his guests.
A Credit to you Pete Souza, for capturing this moment.
I vaguely remember the first time my girlfriend Caz, really started to ask me about my music taste and what I’m really passionate about listening to. I explained about my lack of actual bands on my iPod and how I go through town walking around listening to the sounds of Hans Zimmer, Clint Mansell, Harry Gregson-Williams and Shigeru Umebayashi, ALL incredible composers. At that point I guess she was sorry she had ever asked.
Instead of continuing to barrage her with names that she more than likely wouldn’t have a clue who I was on about,
I let her listen to afew,…so she could understand my gratitude for them.
This was just one of ‘em,…
Especially from around 2.55…but do listen to all of it, you’ll ruin the build up

Pretty Damn excited today to be heading over to the Gallery of Photography to be hitting up the ‘Steve McCurry | Worlds of Colour’ Exhibition.
I was waiting around town for the lovely Caroline two nights ago when I bumped into a very good friend of mine and lover of photography. We took a stroll down by the Dublin Convention Centre unintentionally, I think it was the light aesthetics that attracted us in that direction.I got about 1 snap and then we headed back.
On the way back we wandered down onto the Meeting House Square, which is currently a building site, to discover a poster advertising that world renowned photographer Steve McCurry had a talk on Thursday (1 Day before) and an exhibition running til late April.
Mc Curry is best known for his Portrait of Sharbat Gula or more widely known as the ‘Afghan Girl’
